Who is the designer?
Zeynep Yurderi from the House of Zeyzani designs the Majority of our Suzani Styles footwear.  She was born and raised in Izmir; Turkey but now resides outside of Philadelphia.  Returning to her homeland several times each year to purchase Suzani tapestries and oversee the production of her very sexy, unique footwear.

What are Suzani made of?
The beautiful, one-of-a-kind Suzani fabric is hand-stitched by artisans in Uzbekistan, with vibrantly colored motifs of tulips, paisleys, pomegranates, grapevines and other designs from ancient Greece and the Ottoman Empire. All Suzani products begin as handmade tapestries that are cut to make each of our beautiful goods.

How do I care for my Suzani
All Suzani are relatively easy to care for.  First the manufacturer recommends all Suzanis are sprayed with a water-based leather and suede protector.  This should be done at least twice before first wearing your boots or shoes.  Then the protector should be used as needed to protect the beautiful fabric.  If your Suzanis get picked or the fabric begins to unravel, simply cut the damaged threading immediately.  This will help keep any further unstitching of your shoe.  If you see your heel or sole wearing after multiple years of use, your local shoe repairman can replace both of these.  We sell Leather & Suede protector spray at a very competitive price.

Is there a warranty?
Suzani Styles stands behind the quality of each and every product.  If you have a problem, please bring your Suzani into the store or contact us so that we can repair or replace your item.

My pair isn’t exactly the same - is that normal?
Because the suzani fabric is hand-stitched, every pair in the regular line no two are alike. They all have their own distinctive pattern, insuring that you will never see another pair of Suzani like yours.

It feels a little tight but a larger size would be too big - will they stretch?
Yes they will!  Because all Suzani boots are lined with either goat or sheep skin, they will stretch somewhat after 2-3 wears.  The lining is very breathable and your body heat will cause the boots to mold to your calves.

My heel slips a little bit - is that normal?
You might have a little slippage on your heel when you first wear your shoes, however this should not be to the point that it is annoying when wearing.  We always suggest wearing socks with our boots to assist with this.

How do sizing run with Suzani boots and footwear?
Our Suzanis are manufactured in European sizing and run very close to American sizes.  However, we do not offer half sizes.  

CHOOSING A SUZANI

Advice when choosing a Suzani:
We recommend choosing a style of boots or footwear not an actual tapestry. Each tapestry is used to create only a few boots.  When that tapestry is gone, it is no longer available.  Some tapestries are made using traditional Suzani tribal braids and flowers that make them similar.  

1. We suggest to first decide on the best heel style for you.  We offer 5 inch Stiletto,  2 ½ in. Cuban Heel,  2 in. Cowboy, 2 in. sexy Kitten heel and 1 inch Flat Heel.
2. Next you should decide how high you want the boot going up your calf.  We offer ankle boots, mid-calf styles, knee high boots and above the knee with a velvet top boot.  
3. Then, decide on your size by European sizing.  
4. And finally look at the tapestries boots in your size to find which one is perfect for you.

“I have large calf muscles.  Will your boots fit me?”
If you have Larger or Athlete Calf Muscles we recommend Suzani Styles Cowboy boots.  They have a fuller cut than other styles and allow for more room.  In addition, we can stretch our lining by heating it by a professional to get an additional one to two inches.  Lastly, we can customize a boot for any size of leg.  However this takes 6-8 weeks and can be subject to an additional charge.  Contact a sales associate to help you with any custom order.

I have wide feet.  Can I wear Suzanis?
Suzani style footwear and boots run a little wide and certain styles are even wider than others.  If our shoes aren’t wide enough for a good fit for you, we can make a custom pair for you.  Just contact a sales associate for help.
 
How do I order a Custom Suzani Boot?
If after looking through our inventory you don’t find the perfect boot or shoe for yourself, contact one of our sales professionals at 615-678-7861 or fill out our Design your own Suzani and we will contact you.  Special Orders take a minimum 4 weeks and can take 8 weeks to get from our manufacturer in Turkey.  We do recommend custom boots to fit larger calves or wide feet.

STORE POLICIES

Return/Refund Policy
We do not issue refunds, but will exchange your purchase for any other Suzani product or issue a store credit.

Shipping Charges and Sales Tax
We will happily ship your Suzani to you.  If you are located outside of Tennessee, you will not be charged sales tax.  Shipping vendors include United States Post Office or UPS Ground Shipping.  The cost for your shipment will be calculated on your address and how fast you need your Suzanis.

How to make an exchange.
If after you purchase your Suzani you change your mind, we will gladly exchange it for you or issue a store credit.  We limit exchanges to 30 days after purchase as long as there is no “wear and tear” to your boot or shoe.  If it is a warranty issue, we will gladly fix the product or replace it.  

Are Gift certificates available? How to redeem?
Yes….we offer gift certificates!  They are the perfect gift for anyone.  You can redeem them by purchasing anything on the website and choosing Gift certificate when payment information comes up or redeem in store just like cash.

Do you have a catalog? How often is you’re on line catalog updated?
We do not have a paper catalog however our online catalog on our website is updated daily.  Feel free to contact a sales associate via telephone or email for help choosing a Suzani or to ask any questions.
